Exhibit in Poland
The Bridge to Central Europe

Plastpol 2008
Kielce, Poland
May 27th - 30th 2008

Attracting almost 800 exhibitors from 29 Countries and 15000 visitors, Plastpol is the biggest  and the fastest growing plastics trade fair in Central Europe. Now in its 12th year the show grows from strength to strength and 2008 promises to be another record year!

Plastpol 2008 is set to be the largest show to date and the British Plastics Federation is organising a  British Pavilion at the show inviting UK companies to exhibit in a branded pavilion and assisting in all logistics of the show.

Poland - A Market of Opportunity

It is estimated that the Polish plastics market is made up of around 5000 converters with a large proportion of these being Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs).  Of the 5000 converters, 450 represent 90% of the market, with a turnover on average of 20 million PLN.

Over the last few years the market has been growing at an average rate of 15%.  Imports are increasing even faster and Poland's ascension to the EU has increased the level of interest in the marketplace.  Plastic packaging accounts for close to 22 % of the total plastic processing industry. The second largest segment of the plastic processing industry is the production of plastic parts for infrastructure and construction sectors.

Plastpol - Why Take Part?

PLASTPOL is the major event in the Polish plastics industry and year on year draws huge crowds from across the region.  In the last 4 years the show has grown dramatically, mirrored the staggering growth of the plastics industry in area.

The BPF have attended the event since 2004 and have built a solid network of contacts in the region.  This year we have reserved a space of over 180 sqm in Hall D (one of the major thorough fairs at the show) which will generate heavy footfall throughout the length of the 4 day show.
