BPF Welcomes the Release of Defra's Packaging Strategy

Chinaplas 2009 - Show Report
Taking place Between 18-21 May (Guangzhou, China) Chinaplas was the largest plastics event of the year, despite the current economic climate over 70,000 vistitors and nearly 2,000 exhibitors took part in the show.

ECHA Recommends Strict Control For Seven Substances of Very High Concern

Construction: Worst Fall in Output on Record
The construction output figures from ONS covering the first quarter of 2009, which have been released today, highlight the true nature of the construction recession, showing considerable destocking leading to sharp falls in output. To download the report please CLICK HERE
CPA Credit Insurance Questionnaire
The withdrawal of credit insurance has been a major issue across the construction products industry over the last 6 months. Following the announcement in the Budget on 22 April that the government would be introducing a top up scheme the Association arranged a briefing for members with senior BERR officials and one of the actions that was agreed was that we would develop with BERR a questionnaire survey to go to our members. EUPlastvoltage Project Kicks-Off

Capscrap Project to Reduce In-Process Scrap Reaches First Anniversary
June 2009 sees the end of the first year of an innovative project entitled CAPSCRAP. The project aims to address concerns hindering scrap reuse in major injection moulding sectors such as packaging, PET bottles, and engineering polymer systems such as PEEK and PPSU. Grants available for Fakuma 2009
