British Plastics Federation (BPF) is organising a British Pavilion at K 2013 providing help with the package-stand build and support on the ground during the show. BPF has requested the same space in hall 5 (materials) and hall 12 (machinery) as it held at K 2010, which means that the returning UK exhibitors have the first right to their space from K 2010.

All UK exhibitors (who meet the UKT&I requirements) will be able to apply for the UK Trade & Investment grant towards their stand cost at K 2013 (grant availability to be advised). BPF is the Accredited Trade Organisation appointed by the UKT&I to administer the funding and help British exhibitors with their application. We are dedicated to maximising the impact of UK Exhibitors at K2013 and we have put together a cost effective stand package that any UK Exhibitor, regardless of location can adopt.  The high quality stand package will incorporate a British Group logo, which will ensure the UK  Plastics Sector has a strong visual presence at K.

The package includes 1 table & 4 chairs, a power socket  (mains box isn’t included), spot lights and company name on the fascia board.

Additionally, option B includes a 1x1m storage room with a lock at the back of the stand, your company name on the front panel and spot ceiling lights. 

In addition the front of each stand is 3.2m high (the maximum height allowed by the ‘K’ organisers) which will give the best possible exposure to companies exhibiting as part of the British Group.  Companies have the choice of 2 different options shown below.

Cost of a stand 

As the British Pavilion will be built by a private contractor - Platform Europe, the cost of stand will be divided to raw space and construction. Each part will be invoiced separately. A standard row stand space with 1 side open costs  €225 per sqm, Corner stand space with 2 sides open costs €235 per sqm, End of block stand with 3 sides open space costs €250 per sqm.
The show organiser 's fee for the Media coverage is €300 per exhibitor for the Catalogue entry.

-      Erect solid ceiling soffits to rear of fascia with downlights fitted

Why K? 

K is the largest plastics exhibition in the world, the previous edition (K’2010) attracted 222,000 visitors from over 100 countries and 3,094 exhibitors. The show takes place every three years in Dussledorf. The leading raw material producers, processing companies and machinery manufacturers offer an overview of the latest technical developments, procedures and techniques, of current construction methods and future trends.

K is a truly international exhibition, attracting more than half its visitors from outside Germany. At the last K in 2010, the British Pavilion was a record-breaking in space size and number of UK companies taking part in the group. With 30 companies in the British Pavilion, located in two halls: 5 (materials) and 12 (machinery) and over 70 exhibitors from UK exhibiting with individual stands.
