

The product, machine or process must have significant UK content In Design, Materials or Manufacture and a proven record of recent commercial success or, in the eyes of the judges, have significant commercial potential.Where possible the entry form must be accompanied by the product, machine or a representation of the machine or process. If this is not feasible, a photograph and/or drawings may be accepted.
A concise description together with a justification for considering the entry for the award must also be submitted, but must not exceed 250 words in length. Likewise a brief (up to 5 minutes) DVD entry is acceptable if accompanied by the entry.
In the event of a product, machine or process being shortlisted the adjudicating committee reserves the right to inspect it, which may entail a visit to the premises of the submitting company.
The award may be withheld if no entry reaches the required standard. Conversely should the standard be sufficiently high then the adjudicating committee may, in addition, decide to award Highly Commended certificates.
The decision of the adjudicating committee is final.

The container (plastic bottle, jar or hollow container with closure) must have significant UK content In Design, Materials or Manufacture and a proven record of recent commercial success.
Containers may be produced by any process including extrusion blow, injection blow, injection stretch blow, injection moulding, rotational moulding and vacuum forming.
Where possible the entry form must be accompanied by the container. If this is not feasible, a photograph and/or drawings may be accepted.
