On the 11th October 2013 the BPF 80th Anniversary Gala Dinner will take place.

Take advantage of the BPF Early Bird rate - available until 31st May 2013
This exclusive member only event is the ideal opportunity to celebrate the birth of an industry, entertain guests and network with key industry figures. With live bands, entertainers and a variety of themed acts, the 80th BPF Annual Dinner is set to be the biggest yet!!! In addition the dinner will be moving to the much larger Nine Kings Suite, upstairs at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, to give guests plenty of room to celebrate in style!!!

The event will bring together the entire industry and provide a clear signal to invited customers of the strength and unity that exists in the UK plastics sector under the Federation’s umbrella. For our 80th Anniversary celebrations guests are encouraged to bring partners along to enjoy the evenings entertainment! The 80th Anniversary dinner is a special event for our industry and should be an essential part of your company’s networking and marketing programme. This is an unmissable opportunity to invite customers and business contacts and raise the profile of your business!

The Golden Era of Hollywood Theme
The theme of the evening will be the Golden Era of Hollywood as 2013 marks the end of an era, as 35mm celluloid prints will stop being distributed to cinemas and will instead be replaced by digital projections. Celluloid is generally regarded to be the first thermoplastic having been created as Parkesine in 1862 by Alexandar Parkes.

The venue for the 2013 BPF Annual Dinner will be the Nine Kings Suite at the London Lancaster Hotel. The London Lancaster is ideally situated right in the heart of the city with Hyde Park, the largest of the Royal Parks, located directly to the south, and vistas east to the City of London, Marble Arch and the plethora of Oxford Street shops are a five-minute stroll from the hotel with Knightsbridge and Harrods just 10 minutes by taxi.
