London Metropolitan University

London Metropolitan Polymer Centre (LMPC) is a core part of the Sir John Cass Department of Art, Media & Design (JCAMD). LMPC provides a range of academic support services to the polymer and allied creative and manufacturing industries through teaching, training, research, technical support and consultancy.

LMPC is recognised throughout the British polymer industry and has a worldwide reputation for its courses and expertise.

Equipment and expertise
LMPC boasts a comprehensive range of equipment for processing, testing & characterisation of plastics and rubbers. These facilities complement JCAMD’s extensive workshops and studios equipped to cover work from rapid prototyping, material technologies & design to applied and fine art. Together, they boast an extensive facility in materials processing for the creative industries.

The Centre’s staff have industrial experience and are able to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the polymer field through continued contact with industry.
