Research and Development
The Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Polymer Science and Technology (The Polymer IRC) brings together scientists from the Universities of Bradford, Durham, Leeds and the Sheffield Polymer Centre to form one of the largest groupings of Polymer Specialists in Europe.

The technical team employed by PTIC have been involved in the delivery of training and consultancy support for UK and internationally based polymer processing companies for over 40 years.

Since the original organisation was created as an Industry Training Board in 1975 they have worked with various blue chip multi-nationals to push the boundaries of polymer processing.
