EURECOMP is a European funded research and development project, that targets the development of solvolysis as a novel recycling route for composites, using water under high temperature and pressure to transform composite waste into valuable products. Unlike existing recycling methods, solvolysis aims to retrieve both the reinforcement fibres and the organic fraction resulting from the resin depolymerisation.
The seminar programme pulls together industry experts from within the consortium, to explain the technology in further detail. Presentations will be made by Plastic Omnium, University of Limerick and University of Bristol.
Anyone wishing to attend the event can register via the forms enclosed, which includes a nominal €25 registration fee, purely to cover catering and meeting room hire. Any enquiries can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
The EURECOMP project is part funded by the 7th Framework Programme under grant agreement 218609.
