Affiliated Organisatations

The British Plastics Federation sits at the heart of the Plastics Industry in the UK, representing over 400 members and around 75% of the UK industry by turnover.  In addition to this a furtther 9 assoications are affilited to the BPF, taking overall membership to around 1,600 companies.

BPF Recycling Council Ltd 


The BPF Recycling Council Ltd (BPFRC) is the representative body for UK plastic recyclers.  BPFRC is a company limited by guarantee and is an independent not-for-profit organisation which is affiliated to the BPF and works closely with that organisation on all aspects of plastic recycling.  It has strong links with other recycling organisations in the UK and abroad and is itself a member of EuPR, the European Plastics Recycling organisation.

GTMA (Gauge and Toolmaking Association)

 

The GTMA represents over 300 companies in the UK Gauge and Toolmaking Industries in Mould and Die-making, Press Toolmaking, Precision Machining, Metrology, Jigs and fixtures and tooling technologies.

Insulating Concrete Formwork Association

 

The Insulating Concrete Formwork Association was established in 1992 to promote the use of ICF in the UK and provide a focal point for technical documentation, industry news and enquiries

 Northern Ireland Polymers Association 

 

An organisation formed to represent and promote the various aspects of the Plastics and Rubber Industry within Northern Ireland

Packaging and Films Association

 

PAFA (the Packaging and Films Association) combines the interests of the former PIFA and FPA to represent the £2 billion UK industry engaged in the development and manufacture of films and the conversion of lightweight flexible packaging and rigid sheet.

Plastics Consultancy Network

The Plastics Consultancy Network is the leading international independent consultancy network for plastics products.  Made up of a network of independent consultants covering all areas of the plastics industry - from raw materials through to mergers and acquisitions.

PlasticsEurope UK Ltd

PlasticsEurope is one of the leading European trade associations with offices in Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Milan and Paris. We are networking with European and national plastics associations and have more than 100 member companies, producing over 90% of all polymers across the 27 EU member states plus Norway, Switzerland, Croatia and Turkey.

PMMDA (Polymer Machinery Manufacturers and Distributors Association)

 

Formerly known as the PMDA, the PMMDA represents around 70 UK manufacturers and distributors of foreign machinery for the polymer industry.

Scottish Plastics & Rubber Association

 

SPRA promotes the advancement of plastics, rubber and related materials, through education and training in the science, engineering and design associated with the manufacture, conversion and end-use of polymeric materials.
